This poster develops a method that quantifies how two different curricular learning goals in textbooks occur in the proximity of each other. We call this conditional occurrence of curricular learning goals, and it seems not to have been investigated previously. The conditional occurrence of Learning goals indicates how complex a task is in composition of different curricular learning goals. Hence, conditional occurrence can be an inspiration in the design of both textbook tasks and teacher-led activities with the aim of combining curricular learning goals suitably and in possibly innovative ways.
