This article examines Bann K, a section of the Hitler Youth for physically disabled people that existed between 1935 and 1937. Bann K emerged as a youth section of the Reichsbund der Körperbehinderten (RBK), the nazified national organization for people with physically impairments. During its brief existence, Bann K promoted the inclusion of physically disabled people in a manner consistent with national socialism. By examining issues of the organization’s membership bulletin, we analyze how Bann K attempted to do this.
