This study aims to show the possibilities of collaboration called SSPF that is between social service, school, police and youth centers. SSPF main task is working together with early prevention of youth crime. To collect material for the study, four social workers working with SSPF were interviewed in semi structured interviews. The material was analyzed using contingency theory and interprofessional coworking theory. Social workers don’t experience obstacles initiating collaboration in general. The obstacles mentioned are the confidentiality that the social workers obtain. Lack of time and reorganization within the workers are two other obstacles that make the collaboration harder to provide. Previous research has shown that collaboration and the demand for it is expanding and that the social worker, schools and police benefit from each other’s collaboration. The study's results show that early action is important in working with youth crime prevention and that SSPF, when possible, is effective for both the adolescent and for the workers.
