"Min strategi" är en studie vars syfte är att undersöka vilka övergripande strategier, som är mest vanliga när det kommer till att undvika ett återfall i brott. Studien är baserad på en kvalitativ metod och bygger på intervjuer med fem individer vilka besitter erfarenheter av att vara kriminell. Samtliga har idag funnit en plats i samhället, distanserade från brottsliga sammanhang. Uppsatsen inkluderar även varför dessa människor slutade med kriminalitet. Studien består av fem enskilda berättelser om livet som en ung kriminell och deras relationer till familj, vänner och samhället. Det omfattar också de svårigheter i att hitta en ny plats i ett okänt sammanhang som en vuxen, och även hur dessa människor klarar av att hantera dessa svårigheter. Resultatet av studien tyder på att den övergripande strategi för att undvika ett återfall i kriminalitet, är ett återkommande eller mer en påminnande faktor av den tidpunkt då vändpunkten först uppstod. Den övergripande strategin är därmed nästan densamma som varför dessa människor först slutade med det kriminella beteendet. Genom att påminna sig själv om det förflutna samt räkna vinster och förlusterna av det kriminella beteendet, lyckas de bibehålla ett liv fritt från kriminalitet.

”MY STRATEGY” is a study with the purpose to explore the overall strategies, of which is mostly common to avoid a relapse into crime. It’s formed by a flexible design and based on the interviews with five individuals whom possesses the experiences of being criminal. All of them have today found a place into society, distanced from criminal contexts. I will with the help by their stories find an answer to the purpose of this degree project. This essay also includes the fact of why theese people ended their criminal carrier. It comprises five individual stories about the life as a young criminal and their bonds to family, friends and society. It also embraces the difficulties in finding a new place in an unknown coherence as an adult, and also how these people manage to handle these difficulties. The result of the study applies that the overall strategy to avoid a relapse into crime, is reduplicating or a more likely, a self reminding factor from the time where the turningpoint first arose. The overall strategy is thereby almost the same as why these people first ended their criminal behaviour. By reminding themselves about the past and a recount the consequences of which they no longer want to achieve the same as they count the winnings and losses by the criminal behaviour, they manage to maintain the life of non criminal actions.
