Syfte med vår uppsats var att nå ökad förståelse och kunskap om anmälningsplikten i 14 kap. 1 § socialtjänstlagen och hur plikten sägs upplevas av professionella som omfattas av den. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ ansats med semistrukturerad intervjuform och intervjuat fem stycken behandlare inom barn- och ungdomspsykiatrin. Genom att använda oss av en kvalitativ ansats fick vi möjligheten att ta del av personalens redogörelser för hur de upplever, tänker och resonerar kring anmälningsplikten. Resultaten visar att personalen ser en betydelse med anmälningsplikten och att det finns faktorer som både kan underlätta och försvåra förhållandena vid en eventuell anmälan. Resultaten visar också att det finns en rad påverkansfaktorer som i vissa fall kan ha inverkan i personalens val av att göra eller inte göra en anmälan.

The purpose of our study was to achieve greater understanding and knowledge of the notification requirements in Chapter 14 § 1 Social Services Act and how the duty is said to be experienced by professionals covered by it. We have used a qualitative approach with a semi- structured interview form and interviewed five professionals in child and adolescent psychiatry. By using a qualitative approach, we had the opportunity to take part of the personnel’s reviews of what they say that they feel , think and reason about the notification requirements. The results show that the personnel sees a meaning with the notification requirements and that there are factors that can both facilitate and complicate the situation in the event of a notification. The results also show that there are a number of influencing factors , which in some cases can impact the personnel’s choice to do or not to make a notification.
