Abstract [en]

The European logistics sector is under pressure to pursue greener solutions. This study explores multimodal transport as a strategy for sustainable and efficient logistics, using Westerman Logistics as a case study. Interviews reveal major challenges such as fragmented infrastructure, complex regulations, and lag of interoperability. Despite this, digital tools and AI planning are seen as key enablers of resilent and sustainable supply chains.
