Abstract The purpose with this study is to get kosovoalbanians view about their partner choice in life. A qualitative method is used in this study where the offspring to kosovoalbanian immigrants share their life experiences with me. The study is based on interviews with six kosovoalbanians. The results in this study shows on various answers among kosovoalbanians in Sweden about their partnerchoice. I aim to use the two concepts endogamy and exogamy which is relevant in this study to explain the importance of endogamy (marriage inside the ethnic group) and exogamy (marriage outside the ethnic group) for kosovoalbanians. The concept of habitus is also relevant to use in this study to explain kosovoalbanians view about partner choice. Whereas religion and ethnicity are two important conecpts to use in this study to see if it is relevant in kosovoalbanians partner choice. The study show on various answers among the kosovoalbanians which makes it impossible for me to conclude anything in my study. I also aim to use culture and ethnic identity because it helps me explain how much ethnic identity and culture matters to kosovoalbanians.
