About the project
Background
An application to strengthen the early support measures, written by the Social Administration in the City of Stockholm in collaboration with seven suburban areas, has been granted funding by the Municipal Executive Board in Stockholm. This means a strengthening of services in the suburban administrations that will work with home visit programs, parenting support programs and open preschools. The work includes strategies to make the support available to all families with children aged 0-6 years. The application is formulated on the basis of the work that the municipality does in a family centre and in collaboration with the child and maternal health care.
Our mission
Malmö University's assignment involves follow-up research and process support to strengthen early support measures in collaboration. The assignment includes carrying out measurements of collaboration prerequisites in the respective districts and participating in seminars. The purpose of the process support is that the actors involved, based on current research, gain a common knowledge base about the basic aspects of the collaboration process.
