The Data Society Egocentric Interaction Interventions project explores effects of in situ digitalisation processes on human individual and group behaviour. Everyday situations are augmented with digital stimuli (visual, aural, haptic) to varying degrees and compared w.r.t. how it affects human perception, cognition, and action (“behaviour”) at group and individual level.
In the first case study we develop a semi-digitized tabletop game that allows us to investigate how co-experience and learning is affected by different kinds of digitalisation interventions. Technologies used include Augmented Reality and eye tracking.
