When conducting qualitative content analysis, I am focusing on documents, reports, news articles that captures certain discourses within securitization in Syria. For my analysis I review the discourses that have been made and the theories I have treated in order to investigate to what grade the conflict in Syria has been securitized. I have also studied what referent object has been in focus by Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
