Exploring diverse social capital’s influence on identity in resettled refugees, this study uses Sweden as a case study, collecting qualitative data through semi-structured interviews with seven resettled refugees. Resettlement; social capital divided into bonding, bridging and linking social capital; and identity constitute the theoretical framework underlying the study. Findings include mixed feelings about identity among the participants; Participants who identified with a national identity had a strong bridging capital, whereas participants who identified with bridging social capital had mixed feelings about identity.
