In a world where biodiversity is drastically decreasing, it is important to take initiative toprotect and promote our natural ecosystems. In Sweden, active efforts are made to protectbats and increase their population, while also considering the needs of humans andcoexisting with them. A study is now being conducted to explore the possibility of increasingbiodiversity by involving villa garden owners and the common pipistrelle. Through interviewsand observations, the study will investigate the advantages and disadvantages for people tohave bats residing on their property, as well as how product design can be used to increasethe possibility of benefiting from each other.
