Immigrants have witnessed to be discriminated against due to lackof educational background or lack of speaking the Swedish language. The aim of the thesis is to analyse documents from the Swedish government and reports from Swedens biggest union; Unionen to investigate to which extent they take the scientific theories human capital and social capital into account. Human capital is mainly connected to education and discrimination while social capital is mainly connected to social network and segregation.
