The thesis aims to understand how the Saudi Arabia government frames domestic migrant workers working in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to understand the stance of the government towards the treatment of domestic migrant workers. The point of departure is the mass expulsion of the undocumented migrant workers in 2017 that was motivated by the enforcement of the Saudiazation policy. To conduct the study, labor policies that regulate all foreigners and domestic migrant workers have been used. Framing theory and qualitative frame analyses were used through the definition of Robert Entman (1993), to analyze the data. The findings of the study show that domestic migrant workers are disadvantaged by policies that are meant to protect them as they are still partly governed by the Kafala system which can be cited as one of the main reasons for them to have an illegal status and face detention and deportation
