Abstract [sv]

Syftet med denna studie var att utröna om användningen av video som redovisningsmetod påverkar gymnasieelevers motivation och förståelse. Undersökningen utgick från både kvalitativ och kvantitativ metod samt använde motivationsteorin SDT som teoretisk bas. 3 teknikklasser på gymnasienivå utförde en laboration och videoredovisning samt en enkätundersökning, 9 elever genomförde en intervju. Resultatet från undersökningen visar på en positiv effekt på både motivation och förståelse.

Abstract [en]

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of video as a method for the student to present an assignments will affect the motivation and understanding of high school students. The study was based on both qualitative and quantitative methods and used the theory of motivation SDT as a theoretical base. 3 engineering classes performed a lab and video report as well as a questionnaire survey, 9 students conducted an interview. The results of the study show a positive effect on both motivation and understanding.
