Denna uppsats undersöker hur genusperspektivet synliggörs i historieläroböcker för grundskolans senare år. Syftet med undersökningen är att ta reda på hur läroböckerna redogör för makstrukturerna mellan män och kvinnor och undersöka möjligheterna för hur en förståelse av det temporala sambandet (då, nu, sedan) kan utvecklas hos läsaren d v s en utvecklingsprocess av historiemedvetande. Undersökningen är uppbyggd kring teorier om historiemedvetande och genus av historikern Niklas Ammert (historiemedvetande) och genusforskaren Yvonne Hirdman (genus). Undersökningen visar att maktstrukturerna mellan könen redogörs i delar av texterna, men att det saknas en röd tråd i textbeskrivningarna som helhet. Förståelsen för det temporala sambandet underlättas bara i enstaka delar av lärobokstexterna då faktorer från Niklas Ammerts kategorier för historiemedvetandet läroprocesser synliggörs. Lärobokstexterna i sin helhet bidrar dock inte till en vidare förståelse av det temporala sambandet

This essay examines how the gender perspective is visualised in history textbooks for the later years of primary schools. The purpose of this survey is to find out how textbooks describes the power structure between men and women and to examine the possibilities for how an understanding of the temporal connection (then, now and later) can develop for the reader, i.e. a developing process of history consciousness. The survey is built upon theories about history awareness and gender of historian Niklas Ammert (historical consciousness) and gender researcher Yvonne Hirdman (gender). The survey shows that the power structures between the genders are described in parts of the texts, but there is a main theme missing in the text description as a whole. The understanding for the temporal connection is made easier only in single parts of the textbooks due to factors from Niklas Ammerts categories for history consciousness is visualized. The textbook as a whole does not contribute to a further understanding of the temporal connection.
