Abstract [sv]

The aim of this literature study was to find out how nurses experience their work-situation and work environment and which the risk factors where. We also wanted to examine what kind of influence those risk factors had on nurses work satisfaction. This was done by the following question: What are the risk factors that can lead to burnout in work environment of nurses? The method was by critical examination of ten scientifically articles. The articles were critically studied by the criterions of Polit, Beck & Hungler. Results showed that there were three primary groups in the work environment and profession of nursing that could lead to burnout. Those were imbalance between demands and control, absence of response and direct work environment factors.

Abstract [en]

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att ta reda på hur sjuksköterskor upplevde sin arbetssituation och arbetsmiljö samt vilka riskfaktorer som fanns. Vi ville vidare undersöka hur dessa riskfaktorer påverkade sjuksköterskornas arbetstillfredsställelse. Detta gjordes utifrån följande frågeställning: Vilka är riskfaktorerna som kan leda till utbrändhet i sjuksköterskans arbetsmiljö? Metoden har varit att kritiskt granska 10 vetenskapliga artiklar. Artiklarna granskades utifrån de kriterier Polit, Beck & Hungler ställer för vetenskaplig granskning. Resultaten visade att det fanns tre primära undergrupper i sjuksköterskans arbetsmiljö och yrkesroll som kan leda till utbrändhet. Dessa var obalans mellan krav och kontroll, avsaknad av respons och direkta arbetsmiljöfaktorer.
