Abstract [sv]

Sjuksköterskan kommer många gånger att möta patienter i livets slutskede som är i behov av palliativ vård. I arbetet som sjuksköterska ingår att möta dessa patienter och stötta dem och deras anhöriga under en sårbar fas i livet, vilket kan medföra att sjuksköterskan blir påverkad emotionellt själv. Syfte: I denna studie läggs fokus på att belysa hur sjuksköterskor upplever den palliativa vården med handledning tillgänglig på arbetsplatsen. Metod: Studien genomfördes som en kvalitativ systematisk litteraturstudie. Resultat: Slutsatsen är att med handledning ökade sjuksköterskornas välmående och motivationen att gå till arbetet. Kommunikationen förbättrades i teamet och möjlighet gavs till reflektion och att vidareutvecklas inom yrket, genom att erhålla kunskaper av erfarna kollegor.

Abstract [en]

The nurse will many times meet patients in the final stages of life, who are in need for palliative care. Working as a nurse includes meeting these patients, support them and their relatives during a vulnerable phase of life, which may cause the nurse to be emotionally affected. Aim: This study will focus on how supervision affect nurses working with palliative care and examine the need of this. Methods: The study was done as a qualitative, systematic literature review. Result: The conclusion is that clinical supervision increased the nurses wellbeing and the motivation for going to work. Communication improved in the team and there was opportunity given to reflection and to further development within the profession, by obtaining knowledges from experienced colleagues.
