På en onkologisk klinik har personalen en känsla av att patienterna behandlas med cytostatika för nära inpå ad mortum. Syftet är att på ett deskriptivt sätt undersöka hur nära i tiden patientens sista erhållna cytostatikabehandling och ad mortum ligger, vidare avser studien åskådliggöra hur differensen ser ut i förhållande till diagnos, ålder och kön under kalenderåret 2004. Datainsamling har gjorts genom journalgenomgång med hjälp av ett datainsamlingsformulär. Studien omfattar 65 journaler. Resultatet visar bland annat att det finns ett skönjbart samband mellan patienters differens och ålder.

In a oncology clinic, the staff feel that the patients are treated with antineoplastic agents to close to ad mortem. Our aim is in a descriptive way examine how close in time the patients last antineoplastic agents treatment is to ad mortem, the study further aims to illustrate the difference ratio related to diagnosis, age and sex during calendar year 2004. Data were collected from the patients medical records with help of datacollectionform. The study comprise 65 journals. The results show that among other things there is a connection between patients difference and age.
