Denna studie fokuseras på handledarens roller inom Fontänhuset och grundar sig på handledarens perspektiv. Syftet med denna studie är att få en bred förståelse inom handledning på Fontänhuset och hur handledarnas roll ser ut i den dagliga verksamheten. För att få en bättre förståelse tänker vi utgå ifrån våra tre huvudfrågeställningar som är: • Vilken form av handledning sker på Fontänhuset? • Vad är handledarens roll inom en verksamhet som bedrivs av medlemmar? • Hur fungerar relationen mellan handledarna och medlemmarna inom Fontänhuset utifrån handledarnas perspektiv? Studiens empiriska material bygger på kvalitativa, semistrukturerade intervjuer med handledarna från Fontänhuset samt även av observationer, litteraturforskning och en presentation av utvald tidigare forskning inom området. Uppsatsens teoretiska ram utgörs av rollteori, maktteori och begreppen handledning och relationer. Utifrån våra observationer fick vi en känsla av att handledarna och medlemmarna är som en familj, som har en vänskapsrelation med varandra. Detta har bidragit till att handledarens roll är annorlunda jämfört med andra organisationer. Till skillnad från andra organisationer är Fontänhusets medlemmar delaktiga i beslutprocesser och det dagliga arbetet. Våra intryck bidrog till att vi ville studera om det råder ett maktförhållande mellan handledaren och medlemmen utifrån handledarens perspektiv. Det är intressant att undersöka om det existerar ett maktförhållande, och även att undersöka hur det ser ut och hur det påverkar relationen mellan handledaren och medlemmen. Studiens resultat visar att informanterna upplever att handledning för det mesta fungerar bra och att handledarens roll är begränsad utifrån de riktlinjer som verksamheten bygger på. Samtidigt finns det ett maktförhållande mellan medlemmarna och handledarna även om medlemmar har samma ansvar som handledarna inom verksamheten. This study focuses on supervisor roles in the Fountain House and is based on the basis of the supervisor's perspective. The purpose of this study is to get a wide understanding in tutoring at the Fountain House and how the supervisor's role is in the daily operations. To get a better understanding we have focused on three main questions: • What kind of supervision does Fountain House have? • What is the supervisor's role in the activities of the members? • How does the relationship between the supervisors and the members of the Fountain House work based on the supervisor's perspective? The empiric material of the study is based upon qualitative research with semi-structured interviews with the supervisors and a presentation of a previously selected research within the area. The theoretical framework of the essay consists of role theory, power theory and the word tutoring. Based on our observations, we felt that the supervisors and the members function as a family, where they carry a strong bond in their relationship with each other. This has contributed to the point where the supervisor’s role becomes different compared to other organizations. Unlike other organizations, the Fountain House members are involved in decisions and the daily work. Our impressions encouraged us to study whether there is a power relationship between the supervisors and the members from the supervisor’s point of view. It is intriguing to investigate if a power relationship exists, analyze how it looks and finally how it affects the relationship between the supervisor and the member. The results of the study show that the informants feel that tutoring for the most part works well and the supervisor’s role is limited regarding the guidelines which the activity is based upon. There is also a power relationship between members and the supervisors even though the members have the same responsibility as the supervisors within the organization.
