Abstract [en]

A qualitative study on social workers perspectives on risk- and protection factors concerning youth in danger zone for crime. The study is based of four social workers in a youth organization in Malmö that have youth in danger zone for crime as target group. The purpose of the study is to provide insight into the day- to-day work with youth at risk of crime. Their perspective is based on their practical work with youth and was used to answer the purpose of the study. The question formulations of the study are which risk- and protection factors is of importance for the youth to end or not end up in crime? Can preventive measures be considered as a protective factor? The results show a row of suggestions of contributions and protection factors that could prevent that youth in danger zone of crime end up in crime.
