Genusperspektiv är en av flera variabler som kan påverka vården och bemötande. Ändå sker det dagligen fall av ojämlikhet inom den svenska vården. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva om och hur bemötandet av patienter inom vården påverkas utifrån ett genusperspektiv. Vald teoretisk referensram för arbetet var Yvonne Hirdmans feministiska resonemang om genussystem. Metoden för vår systematiska litteraturstudie var att kvalitetsgranska åtta vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultatet visade att det finns skillnad i hur patienterna uppfattas utifrån kön. Kvinnliga patienters egenskaper betecknades som avvikande medan mannen utgjorde normen. Den könade patienten skapades av den könade vårdpersonalen, just enligt genussystemet.

Abstract [en]

The gender perspective is one of many variables that can affect care and encountering. Nevertheless there are cases of daily lack of equality in the Swedish care. The purpose of this study was to describe if and how the encounter of patients in care affects in a gender perspective. Chosen theoretical frame of reference for the study was Yvonne Hirdman’s feminist discussion about gender systems. The method for our systematic review was to evaluate the quality of eight scientific articles. The result revealed that there are differences in how the patients are perceived on the basis of sex. The qualities of the female patients were described as deviant while the man constituted the standard norm. The gendered nursing staff created the gendered patient, precisely as the gender system.
