Abstract [sv]

Denna uppsats handlar om konflikthantering utifrån ett enhetschefsperspektiv. Frågeställningarna som vår uppsats bygger på är: Hur menar de intervjuade enhetscheferna att de hanterar konflikter mellan medarbetarna vid verksamhetsutveckling? Hur reflekterar enhetschefer kring konfliktbegreppet? Vilka redskap anser enhetschefer att de behöver för att utföra god konflikthantering? Som metod till vår uppsats har vi valt att använda oss av kvalitativ metod för att besvara våra frågeställningar. Vi har gjort fyra halvstrukturerade intervjuer med enhetschefer inom äldreomsorgen. I resultat delen har vi bearbetat intervjumaterialet genom att koda och kategorisera enligt grund teori. I analysen har vi kopplat samman vårt empiriska material med förändringsperspektivet, det situationsanpassande ledarskapet, rollteori samt symbolisk interaktionism.

Abstract [en]

This paper is about conflict management from outside a unit head perspective. The issues that the paper builds on are: How do the interviewed unit heads manage conflicts between employees during changes in the organisation? How do unit heads reflect around the conflict concept? Which tools consider unit heads that they need in order to carry out good conflict handling? As method to our paper has we select to use a qualitative method in order to respond to our issues. We have done four half structure row interviews with unit heads within the elderly care. In the result part, we have processed the interview material through encoding and to categorize according to Grounded theory. In the analysis, we have linked together our empirical materials with the change perspective, the situation the tailored leadership, role theory and symbolic interaktionism.
