Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

In this study environmental campagning has been studied to find the strategies and combination of strategies that are most effective to change consumer behaviours, and in what way the campaign makers work with these. Four environmental campaigns has been studied through case studies, focusing on semi structured interviews. These were analyzed with the help of Schwartz´s Norm activation theory and Lehaman and Geller´s classification of interventions. Information was the most used strategy but very effective on it´s own. Combination of strategies was show nto be most effective. The campaign makers did only use research as foundation to the campaign in a small extent., but those that focused most on research based methods were the most effective.
