Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

The influencer – one of the most attractive professions in modern society. Lately, the phenomenon known as "social media influencers" has grown to become frequently recognized in the newsfeed on various social media platforms. The influencer is someone with great potential to affect his or her followers, thus making the influencer an interesting subject of research when he/she enters paid corporations with various commercial companies. In the study below, points regarding male and female stereotypes in commercials will be made through the conducting of semiotic analyses of certain relevant material.
