Enhancing the learning of cinema: The development of a gamified prototype using design science
Malmö University, Faculty of Technology and Society (TS).
2018 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
Abstract [en]

This work addresses subjects and contexts found in the academic body of film science. The problem which this work is aiming to solve is to find out if a gamified digital platform can aid or replace the current strategy of teaching in this field. An artefact in the form of a prototype was produced, and was used to gather the result together with conducting qualitative interviews for evaluation. The result and conclusion of this work is that a gamified digital platform can only aid in the area of assessment of learning in film science, not yet justified enough to replace traditional methods.
