As part of the project on Childhood in Multiple Contexts I am interested in how children are perceived as present individuals with rights and responsibilities – or as so called ‘citizen-beings’ - and as citizens of the future - or so called ‘citizen-becomings’. Related to this I am interested in changes in the discourses on the responsibilities and rights of states and the ways in which discourses on the globalization of rights and responsibilities can contribute with solutions to inequalities and injustices which amongst others children from ethnic minorities encounter.
