Our aim in this chapter is to present a concise overview of internationalization in higher education and criminology. We first give a brief introduction to the internationalization of higher education and some of its advantages and limitations. This is followed by a description of what internationalization means in the field of criminological research. The foal here is to pinpoint the central features of international criminology and some of the constraints and opportunities it offers to you’re the student.
