Abstract [sv]

Forskningsprojektet ”Health Care in NowHereland – Improving Services for Undocumented Migrants in EU” finansieras under perioden 2008-11 av DG SANCO, Directorate - General for Health and Consumers.

Abstract [en]

The project ”Health Care in NowHereland – Improving Services for Undocumented Migrants in EU”, financed by Directorate – General for Health and Consumers, 2008-2011 will identify and assess models of good practice for health care for undocumented migrants from a health protection perspective. The right to health is a political area involving tension between human rights and consideration regarding migration policies. The aim is to get an overview of policies in EU 27 at national level, practices of health care for undocumented migrants on regional and local level as well as the experiences from undocumented migrants to support rational decision making. Researchers from Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, UK and Austria are forming the team.
