Abstract [en]

This thesis explores how visitors in a museum understand their experience through different modes of engagement, predominantly through embodied imagination. It examines the processes at play in regard to sensory perception in relation to bodily movement and suggests an approach to designing for interactivity in the museum setting that focuses on the visitors’ own desire and ability to form personal, non-mediated experiences through imagination.
